The 29th Annual SEAANZ (Small Enterprise Association Australia and New Zealand) Conference is currently seeking papers for its workshop, 10-12 August 2016, Melbourne Australia.

This conference will focus on the elements of the entrepreneurial ecosystem and the businesses that should be supported in the ecosystem. Quality academic research papers, doctoral student research and papers from a policy or practice perspective are welcome that cover themes such as, but not limited to: 

  • Business ecosystems, industry clusters and the national innovation system
  • Business model design for the sustainable ecosystem
  • Developing and maintaining networks and strategic alliances
  • Education, training and support for entrepreneurs and small business owners
  • Elements of the entrepreneurial ecosystem
  • Government policies for SME and entrepreneurship development
  • Legal and regulatory framework for enterprise development
  • Social entrepreneurship and co-operative enterprise

Key dates:

  • Papers submissions deadline – 2nd May 2016
  • Authors notified of outcomes – 6th June 2016
  • Deadline for final papers –8th July 2015
