In this video Patricia Leighton discusses her recent research presented at the Annual Global Research Workshop on Freelancing and Self-Employment 2018.

Her research examines the regulatory context of self-employment using different academic disciplines and seeking out good practice examples from Australia and the European Union.

Through her research, she aims to find ways in which the support structures and the ways in which self-employment is organised can be improved.
