In this video Ekaterina Nemkova discusses her recent research presented at the Annual Global Research Workshop on Freelancing and Self-Employment 2018.
Her research examines meaningful work on digital freelancing platforms.
She finds that for the majority of creative professionals it is difficult to achieve meaningful work on digital platforms for a variety of reasons, including the fact that most of their client relationships are very short-term. However, she suggests this could be improved if they develop their entrepreneurial potential.
