New to the research library is a video featuring André van Stel discussing his recent research presented at the Annual Global Research Workshop on Freelancing and Self-Employment 2018.

His research examines the digital divide among entrepreneurs in Europe, as well as the use and impact of information and communications technology (ICT) on them.

He finds that the use of ICT has a positive impact on earnings for the self-employed and even a limited use of ICT can help self-employed businesses significantly.
