New to the research library is a video featuring Darja Reuschke discussing her recent research presented at the Annual Global Research Workshop on Freelancing and Self-Employment 2018.

Her research examines how digital platform workers in skilled occupations in the UK use platforms to develop a career, and the impact of this on their life choices and home lives.

She finds that digital platforms are a source of a lot of entrepreneurial activity and many freelancers use them to develop their own business.
